01 Idea
We decide together what to say and to whom. Script, storyboard, shot list.
02 Shoot
On site with camera, drone and light. We shoot flat, to keep every tone for the grade.

Our name · Matla
Matla: where the sun rises.
In Arabic, matla is the place where the sun rises. In classical Ottoman poetry, the opening couplet of a ghazal is also called the matla: everything begins with it.
The sun in our logo is an aperture with seven blades. Turn the ring: as the aperture closes, light breaks on the blade edges and becomes a star.
7 blades, 14 rays.
An odd number of blades gives twice as many rays.
